Any one else suffer from scar tissue tearing every time they make love

Ok possibly too much information and maybe i'm really odd but for as long as I can remember sex has always made me sore, so muh so that i've not been able to carry on. I've not been in a relationship for the last two years soo hasn't been a problem but having recently met someone it became a problem the first time we did it.

Just feeling that this is the end for me and i'm doomed to the single life or a sexless on anyway - which most of the time doesn't bother me as I don't have high sex drive anyway - or maybe because it;s hurt for so long I think I don't like it.

It was only when I had a good look down below that i noticed the tiny sore area on my perinium just at the bottom.

Feeling totally embarassed and don't know what next step is.

Go to the Drs, I had this and they prescribed me a progesterone cream that helped to heal the area.

but surely after two years of no action it is as healed as it ever is going to be. It must be something to do with the thickness of scar tissue or something. Please take into account that it is 16 years since said episiostomy and 14 years since tear and 4 years since last ds was born.

Are you sure it is scar tissue and not normal tissue which has become thin and strained by the scar tissue?

My tearing was at the very bottom on my perinium like you described. My scar was near it, but not the actual area that was tearing.

The Dr advised that the cream helped to rejuvinate the elasticity of the skin. It seems to have worked, although it might still tear if we go from a certain angle...I have to be careful.

right off to the docs it is then need to discuss prolapse problems anyway - had decided to do nothing about that but now that in new relationship maybe its time to think about it. Thanks for your help

Have you looked into Fenton's procedure to have your scar re-stitched. Some posters say they were as good as new after this little operation.
