Would you send a 6 yo to school with a temp?

My DD had a temperature during the night which reached 39.2
I gave her medicine and its now 37.5
I just wondered whether she should still go to school or not. She does have a bit of a cough but nothing else. I have to let the school know if she is not going to be in and I'm not sure if they will think a temperature is a good enough reason. I have to go to work but have someone to look after her either way.

i would keep her off just for today to keep an eye on it. you dont want a raging temp in the middle of school..... your decision though.

No I would keep her off untill she is reading normal

I will carry on with the Calpol today and see how she is tonight. Is a normal temperature meant to be under 37 (its a digital ear thermometer)

I would 100% keep her off. Let dd have a rest today and see how she is tomorrow
