Toddler with the runs, but still has healthy appetite - what to feed?

DD has a nasty virus - rash, fever (inc. febrile covulsion) and diarrhoea. She was checked out in hospital, and they are convinced there's nothing sinister there. Fever is improving, runny bum is not. DD's gluttonous appetite has remained unaffected. What foods will not exacerbate things?

Thanks!

Stick to the BRAT diet:
bread and bananas
rice
apple - cooked apple and apple juice
toast

all very bland, nothing spicy or rich, no sauces.

thank-you both.

My greedy epicurean DD is not going to like this, but neither I nor my washing machine can take the alternative any longer.

Also give her some probiotic supplement to replace the good bacteria she has lost from her gut (will she drink Actimel? comes in thousands of flavours & my fussy ds2 will drink them).

Yeah, actimel or yakult or whatever tends to help. DS2 often has a runny bum, and these drinks seem to fix it.
