Swimming with newly peirced ears???

Title says it all.

The leaflet says to keep dry for 6 weeks (failing that rinse and clean with antiseptic if it gets shamppo in)...advice regarding swimming required please.

My dd had her ears pierced today at Claire's Accessories. Advice we had was swimming ok if you rinse and dry the ears before treating with antiseptic afterwards.
