Hi all
My DH and I were pretty careless before conception of DS but now he is 8 weeks old and after a horribly vomitful pregnancy, I'd like to take contraception seriously.
I have asked my GP about the various options but I'd like to hear it from the users.
Because I have IBS the pill is a no-no as I flush it down too fast (sorry if TMI!), so I have narrowed it down to a coil (which one!) or an implant... I think.
I am basically looking for something that isn't too much fuss, and that doesn't mess with my body too much: I'm a bit scared of the breast cancer risks associated with hormones... or any other side effects.
The implant really appeals but I am told that you stop having periods altogether... not that I'd miss them but it feels a bit like playing God and I would fear a sort of heavenly wrath in the form of some horribly illness. Any views?
BTW I've tried Billings/Creighton natural methods for over a year and I just don't trust it a bit (and what a messy fussy business!)
Anyway now I'll stop discussing it over and over with myself and put it to you lovely ladies - with all my gratitude for any advice!
Connyxx
