getting worried about a headache that wont go away

have had pain in my head for about 10 days now, its not excruciating but its always there. one side of my head, sort of behind my eye and towards the top of my head, quite a sharp pain, gets worse when head is upside down. i am getting a cold but wasnt when it started. cant find anything on google, does anyone think its a migraine or something? have never had a problem with headaches before, dont have a lot of time to go to doctors

are you drinking enough? dehydration gives me a headache, esp in this weather

if you don;t want to go to the GP, try your pharmacist? Could it be something to do with your sinuses if you're getting a cold?

the pain when you put your head down is a classic sign

It could be sinus related, esp if an upside down head hurts and a cold's developing. Make time for the GP.

Or need glasses? Might be worth an eye test?

Sinusitis. I get it loads exactly as you describe.

I ignored it and now have a disgusting infection, had to resort to antibiotics which are making me throw up

do go to the doc though. the antiBs don't agree with me but they are making it better. everytime I moved my head I though it would fall off, now it's only if I bend right down which is an improvement!

I had this and had double vision, horrnedous headaches.

Diagnosis should include looking into your eyes - the Dr would be able to see the pressure on your optic nerve.
