infected nail on baby 4 months

baby has infected nail, pus filled & red, i've taken him to the gp, saw practice nurse who prescribed anti biotics , he's had these for 3 days now & i have been vigilant with cleaning & hygine etc.

looks better today, but just noticed other finger on the other hand now red & pus filled too! what is this? why did he get this when on anti biotics? confused!

The antibiotics should clear the infection up,i'd make sure you give the course, if it pesists then i think a change of antibiotics may be necessary.
