this gotta be the worse cold ive ever had as i caught it on wed and by wed night i felt drunk, when to bed shivering and i had turned the heater up on nearly full blast (my DP nearly fainted!! - oops!), also had a migraine too which didnt help, i slept for about 5 hrs and woke up swimming in bed!! (sweats)
last night i just about to drink water without it hurting my throat, today not too bad but im full of solid green phelgm !!!

is anyone else got it to make me feel better (ive bought cough/ sore throat med and its slowly working)

dh has had it on and off now for three months!
The doctor has now referred him to the hospital for blood tests as they think his immune system might be compromised by a mutating virus which is why it keep getting him again.
I hope they can find the cause and shore him up as it's no fun for any of us - you know what ill men are like.

Do red sore eyes seem to be a symptom of this cold? I have woken up with horrible sore throat/catarrah and red eyes that are sore around the edge for the past 3 mornings. Fell asleep on sofa at 9 last night. Otherwise not too bad

if yor eyes are itchy then it nay be conjuncivitis, if not itchy then it just a cold with your red eyes

ds had it last week, started on his birthday, everyone else seems ok, but he is still quite lethargic and a little hot, was well off his food as well and slept LOADS

I started going down with it on Monday, had to work Tuesday and felt awful.I came home in the evening and just crawled into bed.
I'm home today but have had to pack cases to go away tomorrow, and clear some rooms as we have builders starting while we're away, so I've had to keep going when all I wanted to do was cul up in bed, and of course the kids are home for half term.

Started on Friday, struggled through the weekend, have been to the docs this morning and have antibiotics for a chest and a throat infection!!!!!!!!!!!! To top it all off DP had a lie in this morning due to his "disturbed night" (DD woke at 2 for 20 mins and then I got up at 3 and went downstsirs, returning to bed at 7.30)
Not a great day
