I'm going for my gallstone ultrasound scan tomorrow, feeling a bit scared.

I know it's not going to hurt but I'm scared they'll find something huge and I'll need surgery

I hope it went ok, Mehga- I go for yearly u/s on my ovaries to check for abnormalities (mm died of ovarian cancer) and I know how stressful it is waiting for them to find something - or not. Hope you are ok and that you have avoided surgery .

Thanks bp. The sonographer said she couldn't see anything obvious but it was quite sore when she pushed with the scan thing.

She said I may have passed a stone which was what caused the pain I had a few weeks ago but she couldn't see anymore. Consultant will look at images and I should hear in 10 days or so.

Sorry to hear about your mum - that sounds scarey but atleast they are keeping an eye on you.
