Breastfeeding + Piriton .... can I?

Have a really bad itch for a week now - no rash but maybe occasional tiny pimple-like spots. Can i take Piriton ... am b'feeding 7 week olds.

Yes you can i got a really bad rash after ds was born around the same age as your dc. I was prescribed it. but stopped taking it after one night because i was too drowsy to do night feeds and felt like a zombie in the day. Thats just how i reacted to them though. The dr gave me cream instead in the end.

Thanks for the responses and the links. Doesn't sound ideal but I might chance it and see if it calms my itchiness overnight. It was offered in hospital when I had DS2 and had a reaction to morphine which made me very itchy ... seems like a habit
