What to expect at ortho appt?

Have had my appt come through for ortho to look at my hand (constantly turning blue and numb, even when I'm warm, insensitive to hot and cold)
gp says they prob will do nerve conduction tests but I guess they won't do that at the first appt?

So, what can I expect please?

They will talk about the problem, have a look at your hand, may refer for x-ray, get you to do some movements etc then decide what to do next. If they think it's to do with your nerves or anything like that the will refer you to a neurologist
