Anyone else on long term antibiotics for skin problems?

I've been on long term abs for rosacea since I stopped breastfeeding 3 yrs ago. The last gp I saw, not my regular, recommended I stop and see what happened. Well I did, my skin has broken out in redness and spots again and I feel really low about it.

On the one hand I don't want to be on abs for ever but on the other hand I feel so much better on them and have tried all sorts of "natural" remedies which haven't made any difference.

I will go back and discuss with my usual GP but any ideas are very welcome
