Can I do anything to make it better? We've turned his moses basket and changing mat round to try to get him to look and rest the other way but he really favours the right side

He will grow out of it without your doing anything.

My DS1 was born with plagiacephaly and it was gone well before his first birthday.

Not sure I understand - is there a physical difference or does he just favour his right side?

If it's just a favorite side, then I think there is nothing to worry about.... My son favours his right side - always looks that way etc., but I asked the Paed about it at his 6 week check and he said it's quite normal.

No, his head is flat on the right side and round on the left

it's very common and will right itself so don't worry. My dd had this but it sorted itself out without help...
