DD's fever's going... now what about her appetite?

My DD (15 months) has a fever for a couple of days which is finally calming down, she's just a bit sleepy this morning.

She's shunning solids now and she had a good appetite prior to the fever... won't drink much from a cup and is BFing with a vengeance! In fact this morning her nappy was like when she was exclusively BF.

Any idea how/when I can get her to eat again?

If she is taking milk then really don't worry. You can try and push her with solids and simply won't take them til she is ready. When you feel she will just try her with things like rusks, porridge, rice puding. Her stomach will be grateful for something bland. Don't introduce fruit or veg first.

really don't worry if she doesn't want to take it, she will when she is ready and she is drinking which is the main thing.
