Really weird bleeding - Sex or DepoProvera?

Brief bit of history...
Had period problems for number of years, got so bad I finally kept going to the drs. Tried every contraceptive pill going eventually been put on depoprovera injection to stop it. Had a bleed at 10 weeks - normal period type thing (well normalish for me anyway). Have since had second injection. It's 3 weeks since that injection. Had sex on Sun but had to stop as it was getting painful (like a scratchy pain) tues morning started bleeding almost like I had been scratched not like a period at all. Stopped by evening. Same thing again yesterday morning, but slightly heavier - still not really period like and no other period symptoms. Again had stopped by the afternoon. So what could it be? Is it a breakthrough bleed, was it the sex (I've had the scratchy pain before on occasion but never the bleeding).
I don't really want to go to GP again if its nothing. a) it is a pain to get appt b) I have to take the kids with me c) I hate to think of him sat there thinking "Oh for heaven's sake woman, women bleed - get over it"

Have you had a little 'feel' up there to see if there's anything to bleed, skin tags perhaps??? I had a couple down there, only noticed them when I was pg, occasional scratchy type pain, and occasional spots of blood, usually after sex or walking a long distance, totally harmless, but I had them removed for my convienance, could just be something similar.

Could you not get an appointment with your practice nurse instead?

Not the practice nurse!! She took some stitches out for me once, all the grace and finesse of a silverback gorilla. No way is shee coming near my poor fanjo!!

I would get an appointment with the GP and ask. It's never a good idea just to assume bleeding is OK, even though it probably is!

I knew someone would say that!!
I know there is a 'list' :- breast lumps/bleeding etc that are usually nothing but should be checked out..... I hate it though. I'll see how it goes over the next few days I think.
