Temazepam and the contraceptive pill

Does anyone know if the one can affect the other? Forgot to ask my gp yesterday.

Pop into your local chemist and ask the pharmacist, s/he will know.

I took both and neitehr effected the other (although I didn;t take temazepan regularly, only when desperate, as I'm sure you know should be the case).
My GP would prescribe temazepan and the pill to me at the same appointment; presumably he wouldn;t have done so if one negated the other IYSWIM
