Haven't seen the Runnign thread around for ages, so I started a new one. Mostly s I could have a quick boast

I did a 5k tonight. I hadn't run for more than 2 weeks and I have had a rotten fluey cold. But I thought I would do the race any way seing as I had paid the entry.

Before I was unwell my goal was to do it in less than 30 mins, and as colse to 27 mins as poss. But seeing as I felt awful I decided to just get round.

I did it in 27.54 !!!!!!

Probably a few sconds less by the chip time too I did my first (and only) 5k this time last year, and did it in about 32 mins, so a big improvement [rin]
