I have! my friend lived in the nurses accomodation there. had a great view of the houses of parliament.

was ok, basic and what i expected from nurses accomodation. the doctors rooms were much nicer. been a long time since I stayed but friend lived there for over a year and was very happy.

don't know if this is the same that they offer patients and relatives though.

From what I was told of the nurses accomodation it was pot luck, some flats/rooms were ok, some were v basic. But you will have fab views and couldn't be closer to the hospital. I would take it, it is only for a night and perhaps you could go for a nice meal etc the evening before?

its a huge tower block, right next to St T's - so you won't have to rush for your apt. also a short walk from waterloo pass the london eye.

Thanks everyone...........I just think it will be better than setting off at 5am! My poor brother is going for a consultation, he has just found out he needs a triple by pass! We are having a horrible year as my Dh was diagnosed with bowel/liver cancer in March and has just started chemo, so I can see it being a very busy summer, esp with our trio off of school!
