Should I see the doctor - possible gall bladder attack

Hi wise mumsnetters, looking for some advice please and if you think I should see the doctor.
Last week I had what I think was a gall bladder pain, it started on the Monday, just in my stomach and bad bloating, and then on the Tuesday, ramped up to a severe pain in the left hand side of the stomach, it then radiated into my back (again on the left) and the pain was unbearable. I curled up in a ball on the sofa and 2 hours later the pain was totally gone. I've not had any pain since but I am extremely tired, even after sleeping well.
Does it sound like gall stones? And should I bother the doctor if it hasn't happened since?

Gallstones typically mean pain in the upper right part of the abdomen just below or behind the ribs. But your pain doesn't mean it wasn't gallbladder so wouldn't hurt to speak to someone. Be prepared to be diagnosed with gastritis, in the first instance, and monitor your symptoms (should they reoccur) so you can request an ultrasound if you have another issue.

Gallbladder pain is more likely to be right sided. It could be anything, if you don’t feel well, then it’s worth a Drs appt.
Do you take weigh loss injections? I’m only asking as they increase the risk of pancreatitis.

Was the pain in upper part of stomach? As pp said, upper right tends to be gall bladder pain, but lower left can be a diverticulitis flare up. I suffer with diverticulitis and I get the bloating, sometimes also vomiting, with severe lower left abdomen pain.

Thank you all for your replies - much appreciated!
The pain was in my lower back and stomach, no weight loss injections. I will read up on diverticulitis.
Could that be caused by bulimia? I have suffered on and off for 22 years and I am worried I could have done even more harm than I already have on my body 😢
