Diabetes?

Exhaustedand · 08/10/2026 18:27

Could also be endometriosis?

Glitchymn1 · 08/10/2026 18:28

Male or female? If male could be prostate.

How old are you? I had this as part of peri and using oestrogen cream externally has stopped symptoms.

Have you checked symptoms for ovarian cysts? Might be worth considering as bloating and needing to wee a lot are two symptoms to watch.

Thr33lions · 08/10/2026 18:30

Ovarian cysts can cause all of those symptoms

PinkCatCushion · 08/10/2026 18:30

I also wondered about your age and the need for vaginal oestrogen. How old are you OP?

NormasArse · 08/10/2026 18:34

I have this because my uterus is prolapsed and pressing on my bladder.

Depending on your age, it sounds like it could be atrophy and you need estriol cream.

Im 45. If it was ovarian cysts would bloating come and go or be constant?

I have endometriosis and it makes me pee all the time.

Decorhate · 09/10/2026 07:47

Please do get this checked out. Family member got robbed off for ages thinking it was a recurring UTI but was a serious bladder problem.

It’s not uncommon for women at this age (speak for myself) as well to have an overactive bladder. Basically the signal that you need to wee is being sent before your bladder is totally full. The way to diagnose this is by filling the bladder with water using a catheter while an ultra sound is performed. You tell the technician when you feel the need to go and they look at the amount of water in the bladder - I’ve had this done but not in the Uk.
Treatement is an anti spasmodic taken for approx 3 months to retrain the bladder.
It worked a treat for me.
I don’t know if you would get that in the uk - the ultrasound. So maybe if other things have been ruled out then just the anti spasm medicine could be an option?
Also ask for some vaginal estrogen cream. That definitely helps with this too.
Good luck!
