One of my twins spots have just scabbed over but other twin there is no sign of any spots. They attend same nursery etc so I thought they would both get it at the same time. Not sure if he is contagious or not but going stir crazy being in the house all week.

I sympathise, DS has just come out in spots and I'm going mental at home already!

I think it's two weeks between siblings, mostly - incubation is about 11-20 days, so if sibling two caught it off sibling one, around two weeks is average gap, iyswim.

they might not get it at all though, illnesses are odd like that.

good luck!

Ds got got chicken pox at the end of half term. He had it for 10 days or so, dd got spots 13 days after his first spots appeared and also had them for 10 days. I was quite surprised at the incubation time, but they say 10-24 days

Exactly 2 weeks from DD3's first spots to DD2's first spots.

DD3 had been back at Playgroup and Preschool for a week before DD2 succumbed.
