Has anyone's dc had chickenpox twice?

My dd developed a couple of spots yesterday on her back and side. Today she is quite covered and they are definately blisters.

I know she has antibodies to chicken pox and think she had it very mildy last summer but took aciclovir, an anti-viral at the same time.

I didn't think you cold get it twice but wondered if anyone else had experience of this?

DD had it at 5 months and in May this year when she was 5 years old

Thanks for your reply.

Was it a bad case the second time round?

My doctor said that although people thought you could get it again, she didn't think you could.

DD1 had it at 10 months mildly then again around 2 worse.

When dh took her to the drs and said 'chicken pox? Again?'- she said 'Oh yes, my son has had it four times'
