Hi anyone else feel weird after having their b12 injections?

Odd in what way. You have to drink lots of water afterwards.

nope. i feel ok. tired til the next day.

@Fullofpudding i had my first lot back in may/june 6 loading doses and noticed come night time i kept ferling really weird panicky/jittery etc. Then just had my 3 month one a couple of days ago and feeling the same again :( i have really bad health anxiety so i always worry things like that x

No, it stings, and I start to gain a bit of energy back a few days later. No other indication that I’ve had it.

My mum had vit B IV drips and said she felt 'weird' afterwards and very tired but it passed.

It’s understandable, as your body is processing a significant dose of B12 at once ❤️
I generally feel ok after mine. Felt a bit rough during the loading doses, but I was so poorly as my B12 was so low, so I’m not sure what was what!
For those who struggle with the pain of the injection, take ibuprofen (if you can) and paracetamol, a couple of hours beforehand and ask the nurse to inject it reaaaalllllyyyyy slowly. I hardly feel a thing now.

i’d suggest you get bloods done to check all your other levels are fine and get meds for those that are low, as then your body is in the best position to absorb what it needs.

drink water before and after to make it easier to absorb.

i plan my jag so i can go home and rest afterwards, so preferably after work on a quiet night im not out.
