Hi, for a while now I have had a constant pain in my left breast which sometimes goes to my arm pit. Im petrified of going to my Dr as I always think the worst although I know I have to go.I have one lo of 2 years a friend of mine said she once had pain & it was a blocked milk duct but I dont think that could be the case with me after 2 years.Has anyone else had this type of pain? There is a lovely nurse in my Drs surgery maybe I should book to see her.

Do you know something cherry, I think that worry does nothing to help clear up simple symptoms like this. I had a period of chest and arm pain which I was worrying dreadfully about until I saw a specialist who gave me peace of mind. Soon after, the pain subsided as a direct consequence of the sheer relief I was feeling. Fingers crossed your mind can relax and it will all be a thing of the past

Thanks Summer.I am feeling so much better now since being to the Dr I am lucky that she is a very sympathetic Dr & takes her time with patients.

hi thanks Cherry all OK with me it is a benign fibroadenoma no problem no further treatment needed
had mammogram and needle in boob to check cells of lump but it is all good thankfully

was told pain is good usually means nothing is wrong but to keep checking as per usual and get seen if need be because 'these things are usually ok when detected early' as the consultant said

huge relief

Aww, Im pleased to hear that everything is ok,I was like you yesterday, so so relieved that there isnt any lumps. it must have been painful having a needle put in your boob (ouch).
