Has anyone tried private medical cannabis?

I'm seriously considering trying this for a myriad of health issues which have worn me down over the years that I've been suffering and I'm just not getting under control with tradition medical (NHS) methods and medication.

I'm getting quite desperate and am looking into trying one of the many private medical cannabis companies.

If this is something you have tried can I ask what has been your experience, what condition it helped with, any unwanted side effects and the cost?

Oh and lost importantly who did you go through or which company could you recommend?

Side effects include giggling, eating too much and being obviously stupider

My SIL in the U.S. has a prescription for cannabis for MS symptoms. It’s been interesting to see her progression in use during the past 5 years. She’s gone from twice a day to every 45 minutes; she says it makes her feel normal and controls her anxiety and depression.

I'm with Curaleaf. Tried so many different medications (autoimmune arthritis) which had awful side effects and didn't do much for my symptoms. MC is helping so much, particularly when pain impacts my sleep.

Well I've not giggled in a very long time, hardly eat due to digestive pain and have taken myself seriously for far too long so that would be just dandy lol!

That's really good to know. I've not slept well in years and I worry about that so much. My poor mum was in pain for so long and it really affected her sleep, she was an insomniac for so long that I'm convinced it's caused her Alzheimer's.

I'd love a great night's sleep

I can understand why you’re exploring other options after dealing with this for so long. I hope you find some genuine first-hand experiences and a reputable specialist who can guide you safely.

I'm interested in this too. What sort of things do they give you? Is it actual weed? And which companies are good?

My son has autism and anxiety, he is using it. He uses alturnaleaf (or something that sounds like that). He is sleeping much better and I noticed a difference in him before he told me he was using it. It’s a special dry vape he uses which is bought as part of the package I guess when he started.

I use Alternleaf. I have ehlers danlos syndrome among other things. Best thing I ever did, still occasionally need oramorph when the pain is really bad for a dislocation but I've gone from being in agony and insomnia 24/7 to having some quality of life.

I use alternaleaf too. Its amazing for sleep.

I’m interested in the tinctures. I’ve only looked at Curaleaf and Alternaleaf so far.

It is understandable to explore new options when existing treatments have not provided the relief you hoped for. Wishing you a safe and informed journey towards finding an approach that truly supports your wellbeing.
