use them. they say on the packet for children over 2 years old. she has a sticky eye that wont go away with bathing. has any one had these for a baby. they are called chloramphenicol.

Had some for dd3 when she was a few days old - no problems

are you breastfeeding? squirting breastmilk into the eyes can really help clear an infection.

But I would also be inclined to take the doctor's advice.

i am breastfeeding belgo. i have been squirting onto cotton wool and wiping eye. will try squirting onto eye. daft question but do you still wipe it off with cotton wool.

just squirt some milk into her eyes after (or before) every feed. I wouldn't wipe the eyes with cotton wool afterwards.
