Pain after a difficult colonoscopy, is this normal the next day?

I had a colonoscopy yesterday. It was very painful. I had to move into my front and they had to press my tummy as my bowel is very long and twisty.

Everything was normal but today I really hurt. Is this normal? I feel like it's possibly trapped wind but then I get this stabbing in my lower back . I'm undergoing tests for ovarian cysts next week so could the colonoscopy have irritated another problem?

I just feel horrible

I have had exactly the same thing - had mine on Friday. They’ve actually had to schedule me in for a CT scan as they had to stop during the colonoscopy as I found it so painful. It’s hard to know what’s normal but I think if you’re still in a lot of pain maybe ring the unit and see what they say? Mine is starting to calm down now but I’ve still got diarrhoea. I do have a lot of autoimmune issues so I think it’s just upset everything.
