Any tips for frequent urination at night for older gents?

Elderly relative is finding his nights disrupted 4 or 5 times a night and struggling with general energy levels in the day.

Just wondered if there is anything that helps or is it just one of those things as men get older?

He was successfully treated for prostate cancer if that helps.

He should speak to his GP as there may be medication he can try.

It might be a Urine tract infection , I would suggest a G.P appointment to get a test done as UTIs can be serious if left untreated.

He needs to go to his GP. It may just be a UTI, but it could be a sign of diabetes, or even a recurrence of his prostrate cancer (this can occasionally happen). Hopefully it’s just a UTI, but it’s best to get a full check up, especially as he is feeling a lack of energy in the day.

That’s useful information, thanks. He has been thinking along the lines of something that is inevitable with old age, didn’t consider UTI etc.
