Have you asked for reasonable adjustments during your probation period at work?

I'm 3 months into a new job - have Long Covid so severe fatigue and brain fog if I don't rest and pace. The job is killing me - was thinking if asking to spread my (part time) hours over 4 days rather than 3 . Feel like I really want to make this work before giving up. Anyone else any experience of this? Thanks

Did you declare your conditions? Occ health may be able to support you with adjustment recommendations-ask your line manager for a referral to them.

Yes- I asked before I started though, and was seen by occupational health who made the recommendations.

If you declared your condition when taking the job they should be willing to pass you on to occupational health for support.

It’s perfectly reasonable to ask, whether they say yes will depend on whether they need you at certain times
