...during milk feed

but question is... the food was the undigested food frmo lunch at 12:30 and also dinner

does food hang around that much in stomach? lunch food satill in stomach is worrying me!

been happening coule of nights now

he had real reflux probs as little baby and was glad vomiting had stopped but now???

are we going back to old ways?

how do i know i am not overfeeding him?

could it be teething? he is chewing his fingers real bad today?

he was also burping loads...so could it simply be a burp?

however he also has only 8 fornt teeth and no molars so perhaps lunch pasta caused a blockage - although he had two motions today

argh!!!

real worried vomiting is not just a coincidience - happened twice in eve milk feed in a week!!!

argh!!!!!!!!

Sounds like he has a stomach bug. Better out than in. He'll probably be absolutely fine. It's normal for vomit to contain up to 24 hours food.

Suggest you withdraw milk and food for the next twelve hours and get him to drink water/rehydration salts, before gradually introducing food again.

Keep an eye on his temperature and give paracetamol/ibuprofen if he's too hot.

DS2 who is a little bit older has taken to chewing his fingers (teething) and has managed to make himself sick once so that might be it. however, agree with wmmc that it could we be a tummy bug - lots around adn they can vom spectacularly (DS got it in my bra YUCK!)
This may not be appropriate to you but DS1 is bf morning and night and has a bottle of cow milk during the day. I was told to water the cow milk down a bit to make it easier to digest when he had a tummy upset - also meant he was rehydrating. Not sure what the situation would be with ff but I imagine that would be quite rich - anyone know?
