Breast pain - could be HRT but should I get it checked?

I've been on HRT for 4 years. Was on Oestrogel/Utrogestan regime and generally OK and then I seemed to stop absorbing the gel. Never really had breast pain or tenderness on it.

Switched to Evorel 50, no breast pain but not quite feeling good enough. Moved up to Evorel 75 which was what I was on as gel before.

Fine for about 6 weeks and now have one very painful breast. It started just when I turned in bed and now it's constant.

I know it's likely to be HRT but should I get checked. The reason I question it as it is one not both.

Definitely get it checked to be on the safe side.

Thank you. That was my instinct but wasn't sure if it was overreacting.

It will probably be the HRT but I seem to remember that the doctor on Morning Live had a pain in her breast and was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Better checked than left.

Definitely get it checked. I’ve had breast cancer three times and the only symptom was pain. No lumps.

Definitely check, I only found my breast cancer because my boob was hurting. (It's not true that breast cancer is painless). It's much, much more likely to be nothing, but you should get it checked.

Get it checked for peace of mind. I recently did the same. It turned out was all fine

Thanks everyone. I'll get an appt in the morning.
