Health anxiety- heart issues/ lipoprotein

Hi, I struggle with anxiety as it is- did a blue rest test just as a checkup. It was mainly due to the fact that I’m going through peri menopause and wanted to check if everything was as it should be- my lipoproteins ( never heard of it before now) has come up as high. All other markers normal and I’m 45. When I got the report I just took it as a warning but last night my anxiety took over and now I’m convinced I’m about to have a heart attack and there are blocks. My dad’s family have a history of heart disease which is even more worrying for me - not sure how to calm down. I have let my practice know of the result and a nurse is ringing me on Wednesday for a telephone conversation- part of me feels well if it’s serious they would ring sooner but my anxiety is also saying that they are not taking me seriously - not sure how to cam down

Hi hubby and I have had Bluecrest tests, his lipoprotein was high. He had the call with their Dr who explained it is hereditary. He has had appt with his Dr but it’s not straightforward as it does depend on other factors. Also, I was told that Bluecrest scoring is slightly different to the NHs. Try not to worry (sorry that’s no help) but visiting your own Dr is the right thing to do to look at options/other factors

@GreenBag53 thank you for responding/ my anxiety is killing me hence the reason for the post. I had to force myself to eat today/ it’s a call with the nurse so not sure what to expect. When you say Bluecrest measurements are different is it because their threshold for a high score is different?
