Mounjaro and endometriosis

I have severe endometriosis (also adenomyosis) which is on my bowel as well and also have an endometrioma cyst which had shrunk since taking the desogestral mini pill. The desogestral makes me feel shit in other ways (mood) but also significantly reduces my pain as well as my cysts when I have them.

I am 47 and overweight (over 30 BMI) but can’t seem to stick to a diet. I get intensely hungry and give up, it makes me miserable.

I’ve read that weight loss injections can reduce how effective the mini pill is but I can’t seem to find anything on whether this matters. My main concern is the cyst growing again if I interfere with the mini pill in any way.

Does anyone possibly know anything about this or does anyone have endometriosis and find the injections don’t negatively impact it?

Weight loss injections affect absorption of oral medications including hormones, which means your pill may not effectively prevent pregnancy and may not suppress your endometriosis.
