UTI symptoms just before period

Does anyone else get uti symptoms a couple of days before their period? its not like a full on burning but very uncomfortable pressure on bladder, slight stinging when I pee. No cloudy or smelly urine so fairly sure it’s not an actual uti, especially as it so often happens exactly at this time.

if anyone has any tips on soothing it that would be amazing

Could it be a change in pH? You can get urine test strips that include pH. If it is that your pee has become more acidic, then you could reverse that by putting some bicarb in your water. Eg try half a teaspoon in a full glass. Or you could just try the bicarb in water anyway, and if it helps, that would tell you it's about the pH without buying and faffing about with test strips. NB there's about 600mg sodium in 1/2 tsp bicarb
