white stuff inside baby girl's labia - thrush? or just normal?

dd is 6.5mths

i thought it was just leftover sudocreme as I'd been using that for a couple of nights, but haven't used sudocreme for over a week now, and in her bath I always notice she has white stuff inside her labia

i just wash it out with clean water (no bubbles etc in bath) and she does not seem bothered by it, but it's always there again by the next night's bath

do they all have this or is it a wee infection do you think?

I remember worrying about this with my DD's and the health visitor told me not to wash or delve too much, let nature be!

Dd is 4 and is fascinated by this. Keeps having a delve. Any idea how I can get her to ease off?

it's just part of the normal mucus of the labia. Agree, don't wash it, just wash around.

Thrush would be a red, raised rash - very noticable.

Can second that. HV told me today that what I thought was nappy rash is thrush - red and slightly raised.

She also has the white stuff. I was really embarrassed as it looked like sudocreme and it looked like I hadn't washed her properly.
