Can anyone feel lymph nodes above the collarbone area?

Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone can feel lymph nodes above there collarbone, kind of in the crevis between your neck and collarbone.
Long story short I have health anxiety that I’ve had completely under control until now so don’t want to panic and see a gp if I’m over reacting.
About 10 days ago during pms symptoms while feeling very puffy I noticed a small lump above left collar bone, not visible by looking just when feeling for it. I’d say about size of a kidney bean soft and movable.
it hasn’t gone away or changed but unfortunately I have been obsessively checking it the past 10 days so I think that’s messing with it. I can feel a a smaller one same area on the right side.
Google says it’s cancer but the logic side of my brain says leave it alone and it might go away lol
Any advice is appreciated!

I’ve got one that sounds similar to yours on my right side collarbone. Like you, I panicked when I first found it but my GP whilst fairly certain it was nothing to worry about did refer me on and it was scanned by ultrasound. Absolutely fine, just a lymph node that popped up and never went back down. It’s been like that for about 5 years now and I can still feel it and move it back and forwards over my collarbone

There are lymph nodes everywhere. If you keep Googling you'll also end up with a brain tumour too, or leukaemia. I should know, I've Googled them all.

Book a GP appointment and put your mind at rest. They may refer you for a scan - I had one when neck/collarbone swelled randomly. Nothing wrong, lymph nodes.
Call them in 4 hours time and tell them that you're worried about a lump/lump. They'll get you in to see you.
I'm trying to think whay else I've Googled myself in to... Don't go there! Good luck!

Raised lymph nodes should be checked. It is not anxiety to take care of your health, it is the spiralling that is anxiety.

Lump/lumps

Not a lump/lump that really is bad news. It's the poor cousin of the Oompaloompa.

Yes have this checked at the gp x

Have it checked. You’ll get fast tracked and swiftly reassured.
in the mean time try really hard not to touch it/ them. They’re reactive and you can make them granular ie more nobbly which is harmless but will make you more anxious.
Flowers health anxiety sucks x

Thank you! I hope I have similar results. I’ve had tiny ones checked before but this one definitely feels bigger! Not touching it is the hardest part !

Yes searching online is the worst, that’s what made me panic !

I had one last year. Actually it's still there I think. I went to GP who said he thought it was fine but referred me anyway. Had an ultrasound and consultant said he could see it but it was normal and sometimes they stay bigger. It is in the location you described.

Well thats reassuring. Mine is in the crevice part between my neck and collarbone. I have an appointment for Monday. I hope they just say it’s a normal lymph node but of course anything online says you shouldn’t feel them in that area ever so fingers crossed 🤞

Don't torture yourself. Go and see a GP. I have health anxiety.
