any help much appreciated- glands on neck raised and on antibiotics for very nasty gum infection so immune system down and had headache for 4days even though on strong meds - this looks like shingles to me? Do you agree

Looks very similar to what I had when I had shingles. You need to get the antiviral meds within 3 days to get the best result

Looks like the start of dermatitis/eczema caused by a reaction to the antibiotics. If it's itchy antihistamines are a good starting point with OTC painkillers.

Either way, a trip to the GP is in order.

If you’re still around, have you booked an out of hours appointment somewhere? Different regions work differently. In mine, it’s 101 (or 111, I have to check every time) and they book you in at an out of hours centre. you should be able to just say ‘think it’s shingles, need antivirals’.
