Can glandular fever come back years later?

Had it when I was in my late 30s, 20 years ago. Been under a bit of stress at work and now I feel that same tired behind your eyes kind of feeling.
I know the answer is to go to the doctor, but I'm just wondering if anyone knows

As far as I know, once you’ve had it, the virus remains in your body, so you’ll always test positive for it. I don’t know if it will come back, it’s possible I suppose. I had it in my teens and it was bloody awful, I live in dread of it coming back (35 years later!)

Yeah it's increasingly understood to be one of those viruses that linger and can reactivate as well as potentially having a broader effect on the body as far as I recall.

Could you just be stressed and it’s taking its toll on you?
It can reactivate but in a healthy person symptoms might not show
