Dentist told me I need 2 fillings but ignored the problem tooth

I booked an emergency appointment privately due to my tooth hurting really bad (it has a 10 year old filling in it) the Dentist told me that as it's an emergency appt, she will only look at the tooth that is causing pain, for any other concerns i'll need to book a check-up

She looked at it and said that she could see the filling coming away from the tooth. She took 2 xrays, and then told me I need fillings in 2 completely different places

I was already very nervous going to the dentist, so didn't question it at the time. I ended up paying deposit for the 2 fillings which of course I do need but no mention of a solution for the filling that's coming away

Do I have any options now? Is it likely i'll need to pay again for the emergency appt so they can advise a new filling etc, or is it common for them not to take action as it's not too bad?

I feel so silly for not asking at the time. That one tooth was the reason I went in, and the Dentist even told me she wont be looking at any other teeth as it's an emergency appt.

Just to mention - I am happy to to ahead with the fillings which is why I paid, but just feel stupid for not asking again about the problem tooth whilst in the appt

Is the best course of action to book another appt, or to call them and see what they can advise

Call them and ask

That was a total error on their part not saying what was going to happen with the problem tooth
