Another toothy question, how many should 'we' have by 12 months please?

I think ds2 only has four - ie the top two and bottom two at the front.

Is this normal?

I have no idea!
Thanks..

Many children have no teeth and some will have all their teeth - it's a huge range!

Tutter · 23/06/2008 19:14

what cargirl said

but ds2 (11mo) also has 4, if that helps

PillockOfTheCommunity · 23/06/2008 19:15

Our postnatal thread shows the full range, the babies are all between 13 and 15 months old, some have no teeth, some have almost all of them, just goes that way!

Thanks - Dr Greene says 7-10 months for lateral incisors, whatever they are...

so he is wrong, non?

dd1 had one just through at 12 months. There is a huge variation ebtween children.

My DS had 12 - my mate's little boy none. He used to chomp away on sausages quite happily though!

hairtwiddler · 23/06/2008 19:34

DD had none at 1yr and got her first at 16months.

Ds 13 months has 16 .

Loves a bit of fillet steak

My DD is nearly 12 months and only has the bottom two which came through at about 8 months. I feel like the top two have been coming through for months (bad sleep winging etc - and thats just me!) but still no appearances. I think 2 might be DD's lot!

QOD · 23/06/2008 19:43

MY DD had all 18 by then

spicemonster · 23/06/2008 19:47

Mine has 8 at 15 months but my friend's DS didn't get his first until he was 13 months. He walked at 11 months, mine still isn't. They all get there in the end ...

ConnorTraceptive · 23/06/2008 19:48

DS was 16 months, he got his top two first
