Diarrhoea, cramps, headache and nausea: bug going round or supplement side effect?

Does anyone have similar?

Started last Monday with exhaustion and bad headache for 2 days (but I presumed this was my period and being in London all weekend).
Felt fine when I woke Wednesday morning, then halfway through a meeting in work got awful stomach cramps and liquid diarrhoea.
Had loose stools since, on and off nausea and pain and achy in lower back and thighs.

Husband has been working away since Tuesday morning and has told me he feels the same, even waking in the night with diarrhoea. Kids absolutely fine! Neither of us have vomiting or a fever.

I’ve just started the Aegles acne supplement (3 weeks ago) and it’s really working for me- really hoping this is a bug and not that as I don’t want to stop it! I took it last year and a got an awful, 5 month IBS flare up a couple of months into starting it (could have been a coincidence, of course).

Why would you think it's the supplement? Unless DH is taking it too, is he?

The supplement is unlikely to of course this number of side effects. It sounds like a virus. Hope you feel better soon OP.

Just incase it’s a coincidence. The 5 months of IBS diarrhoea and nausea were hell, and I did kind of blame the acne supplement at the time.
Started again, nervously, because of a bad acne flare up and so this is rubbish timing
