The 5 Types of Health

I have felt in such a rut lately. Work had taken over my life. God, I felt so depressed for months and my brain was convincing me I was always gonna feel that way.

Previously (about a year ago) I had been fairly active and into weight training at the gym. I knew that would make me feel better.

I'm 1 week into being active every day - walking, running, gym workouts, yoga. My depression has basically vanished. Already! I'm shocked.

Anyway. I heard there are 5 types of health:

1.) Physical health
2.) Mental health
3.) Emotional health
4.) Financial health
5.) Spiritual health

I have been making good strides on 1, 2, and 4.

Struggling with 3 & 5 (note- Im not religious, though I kinda believe in astrology).

Anyone have any tips/thoughts/insights? Especially if they are free/cheap.

Thank you xx

Great that you are doing better in those three domains!
Hope the others improve soon as well.
Interesting to think about the 5 types of health.
I think I might add a 6th - social health, i.e. friends, connections, activities.

Hmm 🤔

Maybe social counts as emotional?

And activities counts as spiritual? Maybe?

Hoping to hear more thoughts.
Just interested in thinking about a well rounded life.

I do have loner tendancies so I do think I should be more social.

It's just fitting everything in isn't it...!!!

@WerzMyHedAt Maybe social counts as emotional?

I would say they're certainly related, but I think you can be emotionally healthy but just not have a good social context at a certain point, maybe there was a relationship ending with resulting rearrangements of friends and family, a relocation, or a good friend's illness or death.
