My hands and feet are really swollen and sore - I think the GP will say I have HBP, but I know I haven't

Is there anything else normal or easy to deal with so I don't have to go to see the GP

NB My blood pressure is low, very low and occasionally dangerously low - so it's not high

Last time I had this they made me go on a high salt diet & I really can't hack that atm - I already drink about 2.5/3 litres a day

BTW if you think you are having Deja Vue - you probably are as I posted in Special Needs rather than Health by mistake

I would gp. Even if your GP initially thinks HPB he will rule that out when he checks it.

If you press into it does it leave a depression? If so it sounds like a fluid balance "problem". For this I would expect some sort of lever/kidney function tests (i.e. a tube of blood).

Alternatively it could be joint swelling, maybe arthritis of some kind.

I know this is not what you need at hte moment, but best to be checked.

No depressions

Arthritis sounds the most likely (as I have in in hips/knees/wrists/lower back)

I was just thrown a bit by the skin being sore to touch but I guess so many joints cause the pain to spread

In that case I would get checked by GP.

If it is arhritis early treatment may help slow progression. That assumes you are not already being treated for you other sites.

Sorry it is probably not what you want to hear.

GP has told me to get on with it....... maybe a revisit is in order

It's family - brother has it too (he was getting new knees when he was 19...until they found the bone cancer)
