Dull ache and occasional sharp pain under left breast

What is this pain ? So for a while now iv had this dull ache like pain under left breast and occasionally iv had a sharp shooting pain. I was in bed last night and went to roll over and felt the sharp pain which made it difficult to lay on that side ! Also feel it in my back sometimes.
I had two breast ultrasounds last year and only thing I had was a benign lump.
it can sometimes feel tight under the boob, but for the most part it’s mild.
I have had some stomach issues for the past few weeks but I’m not sure if that’s just down to the fact I was diagnosed with IBS and possibly having a flare up!
Full blood count was fine , heart rate etc all good and blood pressure fine.
anyone else had this pain before?

Does it come and go? Is it worse if you have eaten something fatty? If so it may be your gallbladder, pain can radiate to your back. See GP, who may assess you, and refer if appropriate.

@Roselilly36 It’s on my left side that’s why I didn’t think it was my gallbladder!
it does come and go but mostly it’s bearable, occasionally I get the real sharp shooting pain.
to be honest I’m still trying to figure out if their is a trigger to it but either way I will go back to GP

It may also be your heart.

Keep a diary of the foods you have eaten, when the pain comes, how long it lasts. See if you can find a pattern. Are you under stress for any reason? That can throw up some odd symptoms. I hope you get to the bottom of it and feel better soon.

I have had this on and off for years, OP. I had a heart check with a specialist and was told I had a very healthy heart. It's incredibly disconcerting, like a stretching, twisting kind of pain. I was also told it could be after eating greasy food. One particularly bad time was after eating toad in the hole. I have been more careful since and it hasn't happened for a few months now.

I’ve had similar pain for a year or more -comes and goes,can’t pin it down to particular food -- I wonder if it’s rib joints - I do have a mild scoliosis

You said you had a benign lump - has this been removed?

I get this, had all heart checks, called ambulance out twice, as I thought i eas having a heart attack, they put it down to refux gurd , buts thats me , just get ut checked by a doctor .

I had this so went to see private gastro - had all tests - endoscopy ultrasound blood tests etc - it was from a hernia and acid reflux - try some Gaviscon advance see if it helps 👍

Slipping Rib Syndrome or costochondritis?
or as others have said gallbladder.
