Health anxiety and daughters blood test

I know I have health anxiety and it’s getting worse.
My grown up daughter is a vegetarian and has been complaining of being tired all the time.
She has no other symptoms and this has been going on for years.
She had a blood test yesterday to check her iron etc.
I am now spiralling imagining the outcome of the test being awful.
Any words of wisdom?

Being tired all the time is not a red flag symptom for anything. She a veggie she probably has low iron which is why they're testing it. They'll give her iron tablets and tell her to eat more kale. It's something which has happened to, I'm guessing, 75% of veggies at some point in our lives.

Thanks. I am stressing about leukaemia I guess.

If the symptoms have been going on for years, but not got worse, I think it's more likely to be anaemia than leukemia, if it helps you to think of it that way?

Yes. She thinks since she went vegetarian about 9 years ago.

She's female, so having periods, and long term vegetarian. It's almost guaranteed she's going to be anaemic, or at the very least low in iron stores.

She'll get iron tablets and feel better.

It’s probably just low iron and/or B12 which is common in vegetarians

Thanks all.

Hi, OP. I have health anxiety so know how your mind goes to the worst possible scenario but if it was found to be leukemia you wouldn't normally be waiting for the results, they'd contact you immediately.
I knew someone who had a blood test for leukemia and by that evening they were in hospital.
It sounds like your dd could be slightly anaemic or B12 deficient.
