How does needing tooth removal make you a failure?

You are going with the best option now for your health and comfort 💐

I mean, I've always tried to prioritise teeth cleaning etc but I've obviously not done enough..

I need to get a grip, it's at the back and no one will see...

Don't worry. If it's too bad to be saved it could damage your other teeth if it stays in.

I had my LL7 removed about 4 months ago and I'm only just getting used to chewing on that side again. That's kinda annoying.

But the extraction only took about 30 seconds and they totally numb you.

It'll feel like a relief to get the bad tooth out. Just make sure you brush and floss/tp each tooth thoroughly and have professional cleaning and I'm sure they'll stay put!

I’ve got to have my first lower molar out and feel the same. Root canal and crown failed on it

I know the feeling. I thought it was old people (men) who had no teeth and I was disappointed in myself that I was having one out in my mid-40s.
Due to receding gums, I've had four out now and my remaining teeth are actually healthier - and I've had some bone regrowth.
It sucks but it is what it is.

Im led in bed right now after having a lower molar taken out this morning.
I’ve always looked after my teeth too and I’m only 30. But if it has to be done for your health then do it.
On the positive side I’m hoping to loose some weight living off soups for the next two weeks 🤣
