Sudden sharp pain in left groin and back, any ideas?

Since yesterday I have had a intense sharp pain in my left groin area, It’s sharp and comes and goes but I can feel the pain also in my back and have no idea what it could be? It came on suddenly. Has anyone ever had this? I don’t think it could be ovulation pain as I’ve never had it this intense before?

Where abouts in groin? How bad is the pain? Could be ovarian cysts. They can twist and it’s very painful (usually the pain lands
you in a&e!)

Is it groin to back or back to groin, or can't you tell?

It’s on the left side and it’s sort of in my pelvis/groin area. I had an endometrial ablation 3 weeks ago so I’m unsure whether it’s something to do with that or it’s something else, it’s just come on suddenly yesterday

I’ve had this for many years and in fact it happens again a couple of days ago. I went to the doctor and she found nothing. Interestingly, I went for a lymphatic drainage massage and the therapist focussed on this area.

My last pain was Friday an this morning I have woken up with a stuffed nose and the start of a cold. Do you feel poorly after your pain? It could be your lymph nodes warning you that you are run down.

Have you been to see the GP though?
