I hate it when they go to bed poorly. Unfortunately the timing of the calpol meant that we couldn't give him some just before he went to sleep. I've felt him and he feels quite warm so do I wake him? Ironically he slept through the night last night for the first time !!! and tonight I somehow don't want him to sleep through so that I can check he's OK.

Are you checking the back of the neck for temperature? Can you remove covers/sleeping bags etc?

I wouldn't worry too much. If he is too hot he'll wake up and yell at you.

Have you got a fan? point it at him it will help

Do you give it with a syringe? Wouldn't need to wake him v much to put that in his mouth and push down the plunger v. slowly.
