has anyone had anything like this before?
i noticed this around 2 months ago now and its just not going it has not changed in size doesn’t itch doesn’t bleed
it feel like like a spot and at first i thought it was it had no white head just a raised red spot
im seeing the GP next week so they can check it over but i am worrying now thinking the worst 🤦🏻‍♀️ it does look similar to papules but not sure if you can just get 1 of them i don’t normally suffer from spots or anything this has just appeared it’s on the left had side of my face xx

Could it be a cherry angioma ? It doesn’t look sinister

Shauna2866 · 02/04/2026 22:15

I was just about to post a thread about something similar on my forehead.
I suspect it is a cherry angioma as well.
Has anyone had success freezing these off? People on reddit are doing it...and it seems like such palava to have to book in with a dermatologist to have it done.

Shauna2866 · 03/04/2026 20:58

@mjf981 how long has yours been there did it randomly appear mine did and it will not go
it’s really stressing me out
i thought cherry angiomas are bright red like strawberry looking mine isn’t more like a spot with no head just there

Mine has been there about a month.
They can look quite varied from what I have seen.
Don't worry, it won't be anything serious from what I can see.

sellthebigissue · 03/04/2026 23:29

I had mine for years and I had it cut off last year. No drama. Ive also picked them off before (dont recommend) but it worked lol.

Definitely looks like a cherry angioma but.. if its pink, stop and think. Always get new skin lesions looked at. X

Mine was like this and I asked to be referred to Derm on the suspected cancer pathway. My raised shiny bump flattened out and turned out to be an actinic keratosis which is a lesion caused by sun damage, some of which go to become an SCC. I’m halfway through treatment with a cream. The other option is surgical removal.
