What is this on my scalp?

So I have EDS and literally falling apart with the menopause. Always had thin hair but last few months it's got so much worse, around the same time I had mirena put in (for Gynae and HRT reasons, hate it and will probably get it out but then that's no progesterone tolerated so I'Il probably have to stop all HRT which will be awful).

I had a big itchy/sore rash pop up Inn my scalp a few weeks ago, by the time my GP appt came round it was loads better (still pink but otherwise ok) so agree put it down to low ferritin and prescribed me iron.

Woke in Monday to this again, did an online consult and am waiting (weeks) for a face to face appt but have been prescribed steroid lotion in the meantime.

I've had melanomaon my scalp before, there's new moles too I'm keeping an eye on and I've got suspected BCCs on face (have had in past).

Any ideas what this is?

I have rosacea and v v reactive skin on faces, cannot use any make up or most SPF. Gluten intolerance etc etc

What is this on my scalp?

Id try some Nizorel shampoo, or boots own brand shampoo with keotoconazole in.
I did suffer a similar horrible itchy, scaly, sore scalp during peri and early menopause. I found this helped. Once you’ve done the initial treatment just using it once a week helps keep on top of it.
